For those of you who have smaller equines (minis, mini mules) on Adequan, what dosage did your vet prescribe? My mini mule is getting the full horse dosage (5ml), twice a month, but that still seems high to me.
I've had other vets tell me 3.5ml once a month... so I'm just curious what other vets prescribe. Especially for mules, as I know they can metabolize things differently - which is why this vet put her on such a high dose... but still, she weights less than 250 lbs, so she's getting...
