Hi I'm new and interested in a mini!

Hi I want to learn as much as I can about miniature horses. I used to horse ride and spend hours at a friends barn but had to stop for school and my growing family. I have almost no experience with minis though. I have my eyes on this one mini foal that I absolutely love and he would be ready to go around the time I finish school. The owner is a friend and could also board him for us as long as we need.

My family lives by a horse town so there are a lot of horse walking trails. I understand...
